Lori Lauden became the Director of Wildwood Christian Academy in 2012. Born and raised in Northwest Houston, Lori graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. During her time at Baylor, she had the opportunity to travel to London, England to teach in a British Primary School.
After graduating, Lori taught first grade in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District before moving with her husband Pat to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. There, she continued her teaching career in Kindergarten and First grade classrooms as a founding faculty member of Lehigh Valley Academy, a charter school and accredited IB World school. In addition to being a classroom teacher in Bethlehem, Lori also served as Director of Children's Ministries at Wesley United Methodist Church (ages 18 months – 12th grade) from 2002 through 2005.
Lori and her husband returned to Texas in 2005, where she continued her work in elementary education in the Houston Independent School District and Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. In 2008, Lori's family moved to Magnolia and soon joined Wildwood United Methodist Church.
Lori and her husband Pat have three children: Caroline, Julia and Deacon. They enjoy traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. For Lori, teaching children is a calling from God and she is honored to live out that calling at Wildwood Christian Academy.
